I'm a coordinator of children's programs in California. I've just read all the articles for program planning and staff development (tips/articles) What good advice and writing. Wish you lived in this area to do a work shop for us!!!

Hip, Hip, Hooray!!!
We need to turn in an activity calendar two weeks before the new-following month---and are required to have at least a couple NEW activities-with variety each week (Need the new so kids that have been with us awhile aren't bored with doing the SAME "specials" each year.) NOW I WON'T HAVE TO SEARCH through the internet each month--
all I --(and my staff) have to do is come here!

I just want you to know that the advice, tip pages and ideas shared are making my days so much easier. We have access to a computer at work---and now because of your advice---my staff is becoming much more empowered to bring ideas to the program. I give them time each day to check to see if anything new is added-that they would like to try in the program! A great service. Thank-you. Cassie/Michigan

How great is this! I’ve been dismayed that there aren’t any idea sites specifically for before and after school workers. As for activities, previously I’ve gone on teacher sites and adapted those to fit what I need…now I'll just come here! Thank you. Mary/New Mexico
